So assuming that you're not exercising, and that you'd burn off the carbs as soon as you ate them (and not a mix of fat/carbs at the same time), you'd burn that gram of carbs off in a couple minutes. In other words, pretty much right away. I don't think the math is exact, but I think it does show that you'd burn it off pretty quickly.
